Your files

Every tool on this site reads your file with your browser's own file APIs, converts it using code running on your device, and hands the result back as a download. The file is never sent anywhere.

This is not a promise about how we handle uploaded files. It is a statement that no upload happens, which you can verify yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network panel with no filter applied, and run a conversion. You will see no request carrying your file.

• File contents, file text, and anything derived from them are never sent to any server, including ours.
• No third-party conversion service is used.
• The converted result is produced in memory and released when you leave or reset the page.

What the site does receive

Loading any website reveals some information to whoever serves it. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles the request and may log technical details such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. That is standard server logging and applies to the pages themselves, not to anything you convert.

Some tools download an additional piece of code the first time you use them, such as the audio engine or a PDF library. Those files are served from this site's own domain, or from an asset subdomain of it in the case of the audio engine, which is too large for the file-size limit our host places on a single file. They are the same for every visitor and are downloaded before you choose anything, so they tell us nothing about your file.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures how quickly pages load. It sets no cookie, stores no identifier, and does not follow you between sites or between visits, so there is nothing here that could be used to recognise you later.

What it records is the page address, the referring page, the country, coarse device and browser information, and loading timings. What it does not record is anything about your files: the conversion happens on your device, so no file, filename or byte of file content ever reaches it or us. Event tracking — which tool was used, whether a conversion finished — is switched off, and the site's source fixes the shape of any such event so that no filename could be attached to one.

Advertising

This site is paid for by advertising, supplied by Adsterra. Where ads are shown, Adsterra and its demand partners receive the usual information a web request reveals: your IP address, the page the ad is on, and your browser's user-agent string. They may use cookies or similar storage to choose which ad to show and to limit how often you see the same one.

Their use of that information is governed by Adsterra's own policies rather than by this one, and the link below is where to read them.

Each ad runs inside a sandboxed frame with no access to this page. That is a technical arrangement rather than a promise: the browser enforces it, the ad script is in a separate origin, and it cannot read the page around it, the storage it uses, or anything a converter has touched.

What advertising never receives is anything about your files. Ads are ordinary page furniture: they are chosen from the page you are viewing, not from what you converted, because nothing about your file exists outside your browser for anyone to target.

Ads are never placed inside a converter's controls, and never between choosing a file and converting it. This site carries no pop-ups, no pop-unders, and no overlay bars, although the advertising network offers all three.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies of its own. It writes one thing to your browser's local storage, and only after you have been asked: whether you agreed to advertising. The entire record is the word granted or the word denied, so there is nothing in it that could tell you apart from anybody else, and it exists so that you are not asked again. Your files are never written to local storage.

Third parties

Two, and only two. Cloudflare hosts the site, serves the pages, and stores the audio engine that the audio tools download. Adsterra supplies the advertising. Neither is a conversion provider, and neither receives a file, part of a file, or anything derived from one, because no such thing is ever transmitted.

Children

The site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It asks for no personal information from anyone.

Your rights

Because the site holds no account, no profile, and no copy of anything you convert, there is no personal data of yours for us to export, correct, or delete. If you believe otherwise, or you want to ask about the hosting logs, write to us.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your files are handled, the change will be visible here with a new date. The commitment that files are converted on your device is the reason this site exists, and a change to it would be a change to the product, not to the wording.
