Your files

Every tool on this site reads your file with your browser's own file APIs, converts it using code running on your device, and hands the result back as a download. The file is never sent anywhere.

This is not a promise about how we handle uploaded files. It is a statement that no upload happens, which you can verify yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network panel with no filter applied, and run a conversion. You will see no request carrying your file.

• Files are not uploaded, copied, forwarded, or inspected by us.
• Files are not stored, because there is nowhere to store them.
• File contents, file text, and anything derived from them are never sent to any server, including ours.
• No third-party conversion service is used.
• The converted result is produced in memory and released when you leave or reset the page.

What the site does receive

Loading any website reveals some information to whoever serves it. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles the request and may log technical details such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. That is standard server logging and applies to the pages themselves, not to anything you convert.

Some tools download an additional piece of code the first time you use them, such as the audio engine or a PDF library. Those files are served from this site's own domain, or from an asset subdomain of it in the case of the audio engine, which is too large for the file-size limit our host places on a single file. They are the same for every visitor and are downloaded before you choose anything, so they tell us nothing about your file.

Analytics

Analytics are currently switched off. If they are enabled in future, they will record product events only: which tool page was viewed, whether a conversion was started, and whether it succeeded or failed.

The event shapes are fixed in the site's source code and have no free-form fields, so there is no place for a filename or file content to be attached. File sizes, where recorded, are reported as a coarse range rather than an exact number, because an exact byte count identifies a specific file.

Advertising

This site is paid for by advertising, supplied by Google AdSense. Where ads are shown, Google and its partners receive the usual information a website request reveals: your IP address, the page you are on, and your browser's user-agent string. Google may use cookies or similar storage to select ads and to limit how often you see the same one.

Google's use of that information is governed by its own policies rather than by this one. You can review them, and change what Google personalizes for you, at the links below.

What advertising never receives is anything about your files. Ads are ordinary page furniture: they are chosen from the page you are viewing, not from what you converted, because nothing about your file exists outside your browser for anyone to target.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing about you in your browser's local storage. Your files are never written to local storage.

Google's advertising may set cookies or use similar storage on the pages where ads appear. The cookie page describes what that covers and how to refuse it.

Third parties

Two, and only two. Cloudflare hosts the site, serves the pages, and stores the audio engine that the audio tools download. Google supplies the advertising. Neither is a conversion provider, and neither receives a file, part of a file, or anything derived from one, because no such thing is ever transmitted.

Children

The site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It asks for no personal information from anyone.

Your rights

Because the site holds no account, no profile, and no copy of anything you convert, there is no personal data of yours for us to export, correct, or delete. If you believe otherwise, or you want to ask about the hosting logs, write to us.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your files are handled, the change will be visible here with a new date. The commitment that files are converted on your device is the reason this site exists, and a change to it would be a change to the product, not to the wording.
